| Communities of Practice (CoPs) |

Communities of Practice (COPs) are a cost-effective way to promulgate best practices and performance improvement throughout distributed organizations. NSPI has significant successful experience in helping client organizations establish and maintain productive COPs. |
|
| EPG Facilitation |
|
Natural SPI can assist you with the creation and management of your Engineering Process Group (EPG). We provide input into who should be in the EPG at what phase of your process improvement project. Whether you are starting with a fairly complete set of processes or are starting with almost nothing, determining where to start can be daunting. Not all processes are created equal. We can provide information to organize the work your EPG does to get the best results for the time and money spent. |

| Process Implementation Support |

Natural SPI helps the client organization successfully implement the right processes in the right representation for the organization. |

| Process Improvement for Executives |
|
The most critical decisions related to process improvement is to determine whether or not there is a compelling business case for process improvement. Leaders need a quick, business-oriented understanding of the factors that go into a decision to invest in process improvement.
This half-day workshop is designed to provide executives and senior leadership with the information that is critical to making informed decisions about CMMI-based process improvement. Some of the topics in this workshop include:
What using the CMMI will and will not do for the organization
A very high-level overview of the structure of the CMMI, its representations and their context in business
How to determine if the organization is ready for process improvement
The executive’s role in model-based process improvement
What has worked (and not worked) in other organizations.
This is not pure lecture. Participants get out of it what they put into it. This workshop requires people to think, challenge, question, and discuss... in other words, lead! |
|
| Process Improvement Project Management (PIPM) |
|
Development and delivery of a process system can use the same effective project management principles as delivery of a software product or system. PIPM teaches your organization process focus personnel (e.g., EPGs, SEPGs) how to plan and manage their process improvement project so that the process improvement goals are achieved.
PIPM includes a training workshop, coaching in the use of customized NSPI process improvement project management assets, and expert hands-on consulting and mentoring. |
